- I used a Star Wars fanon reference because I’m a complete nerd and can’t help myself. “Dukkra ba dukkra” means “Freedom or Death” and it comes from The Slave Who Makes Free by Fialleril. I have not read the fic personally but I have read several inspired by it.
- I have simplified some family trees and expanded others because the Starks have a rather dizzying, published family tree and House Tyrell rarely seems to name everyone in canon.
- A lot of my head canon for the World of Ice and Fire comes from David Lightbringer, formerly known as Lucifer Means Lightbringer. I love his YouTube streams and highly recommend them.
- I have no intention of writing a sequel. I know there is room for it. I have other things I want to do.
